Anderson Receives AACC CPOCT
Division Award
for Outstanding Achievement
July 21, 2009 - The AACC Division of
Critical and Point of Care Testing presented MAS’s Marcy
Anderson, MS, MT(ASCP) with the Outstanding
Contributions to Point of Care Testing Award. This is
only the second time in the history of the division that
this special recognition has been extended for
exceptional service.
Marcy served as the first Chair of the CPOCT Division in
2003 following the merger of the Critical Care and Point
of Care Testing Divisions. She has advocated for
point-of-care issues in various leadership positions
throughout her career. Marcy helped launch several of
the division’s most significant programs, including the
POC Coordinator’s Forum, the poster campaign "Is the lab
in the loop?" and the POC Specialist Certificate
Program. |
