Charlottesville, VA - June 15, 2006 - Medical
Automation Systems, Inc., (MAS) announces the appointment of
Cathy Johnson, MT(ASCP) as Regional Business Manager for the
Southwest area of the United States - a territory that
includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Cathy comes to MAS from Roche Diagnostics, where during her
9 years there, she held various sales positions including
Account Manager-Hospital in Diabetes Care, IT
Sales Consultant and Account Manager- Reagent in Roche's
research division, Roche Applied Science.
Prior to her career at Roche, Cathy spent 10 years at the
Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. She held
several positions in the clinical laboratory, most notably
as an Ancillary Testing Coordinator where she developed
and implemented the institution's Point of Care Testing
Program. Cathy also held a position in hospital
administration as the Administrative Officer for the
Department of Medicine.
Cathy’s hospital experience coupled with her previous
exposure to the RALS product will enable her to hit the
ground running in her new MAS assignment.
